What cracks me up about Welsh is that there are all those words with no vowels. Then they'll throw in a word that' all vowels.

Does it take forever to learn to pronounce?

That's exactly what I was going to say. Except in French.

Isn't it a Welsh village that has the longest name in the world?

Right you are, William. It's called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and it means "St. Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool of Llantysilio of the red cave."

How cool is this that you can write a different language. Yeah, the only word I knew was 'Gwrs Cymraeg.'

PS- I have always loved this pic.
