If you had told me twenty-one years ago that four people would eventually call me "Mom," I would have laughed out loud. So would most of the people who knew me. I ain't laughing now. I'm too busy with four of the coolest people on the planet. We spend as much time as possible singing in public, dancing in the kitchen, speaking in accents after 9:00 at night, and trying to shock my unshockable husband. So far we're winning.

I am working on my first novel -- which keeps insisting that it is actually an extremely dense short story -- and trying my hand as a 400-word-per-post columnist for The American Fork Citizen. Join me here the second and fourth weeks of every month for thoughts on writing, life, love, and general spazziness.

You can read any leftover thoughts here: Janiel Miller - Life in Bits  And follow me on twitter here: @janielmiller
